Hello, I am Jordanna- founder of Yorkshire Balms & Butters (established in 2023) and proud mummy to 2 beautiful children. We handcraft 100% natural, artisan skincare & herbal remedies. I make everything myself (with the childrens help ofcourse) in our little home- made in small batches to ensure quality.
Our products are the perfect natural alternatives, to use instead of the commercialised , high chemically processed junk you find in the supermakets.
My moisturizes are the perfect solution for: dry, inflamed, cracked, sore, excema & acne prone skin. They are also great for use on nappy rash.

How our story formed & began!
My youngest was born in 2022- she suffers with eczema flare ups on and off... After being prescribed numerous different creams by the doctor, I knew I didn't want to use anything that contained steroids/chemicals or anything harsh that would strip her natural skin barrier! I had always used natural ingredients on my eldest daughters' skin, which is why I decided to start making my own, FIRST gentle moisturiser- Arya's Baby Butter. Our product range green from there & the rest is history..
Our passion for using nothing other than natural.
I believe in a more simplistic & natural way of living. Ever since having my daughters- especially my youngest- I began to take an interest in living more 'naturally' & wanting myself (and them) to live the best & most healthiest way we possibly can! This means Natural skincare, haircare, soaps, food, etc. They deserve the very best & this is what gives me the drive & passion to carry on doing what I am doing.
All of our ingredients are 100% natural & therefore, colour & consistency can sometimes slightly vary. However, this does not affect quality.
Will we be making more products?
We currently have: 6 different moisturizers, 1 face/body scrub, Natural vicks ointment, herbal tea, tinctures, essential oils, infused oils & childrens teething ointment. We are still currently expanding our product range and have many more ideas in mind to add to our range of living naturally- including healing balms & lipbalms. Do you handcraft the moisturiser yourself?
Yes! I handcraft everything myself! Apart from the essential oils.
The mission.
We want to reintroduce our customers to using natural ingredients & products on their skin. We want to provide you with the best natural alternative to commercial supermarket 'lotions' & 'face creams'. All claiming to be nourishing but infact, these major manufacturing companies are using harsh chemicals that strip our skin of it's goodness!
The vision.
Eventually, we want to become a fully environmentally friendly company! Using recycled packaging & earth friendly labels, leaflets, business cards. We also want to help by planting trees when customers order from us and supporting our local community & businesses!
